DAY 1: WINDHOEK – TSUMKWE(BUSHMAN LAND)

Your journey starts with a transfer from your  accommodation establishment in Windhoek to the Eros airport. The flight, departing early from Windhoek, takes you across the magnificent Eros Mountain  range towards the far north of Namibia.  Enjoy the  the vast intriguing plains of the north from a bird’s-eye view. We land in Tsmkwe, the capital of Bushman land. We then travel by vehicle into the heart of Bushman  land to our camp.

Accommodation: Tented camp, including, dinner, bed, breakfast and an excursion to the  neighbouring bushman village.   

DAY 2: BUSHMAN WALK             

A day is spent with the bushman, walking in the bush seeing how they hunt and gather food. an in depth look at the art of collecting  water, medicinal plants and shoots. The love that the bushman has for nature and  the coexistance with wild animals.

Accommodation: Tented camp, including, dinner, bed, breakfast and an excursion to the  neighbouring bushman village.  

 

DAY 3: BUSHMANLAND-OWAMBO LAND

Early morning flight to the town of  Ondangwa, Here we visit an Owambo village and a traditional Museum in Oshakati.

Overnight at a local hotel. Dinner Bed Breakfast.

DAY 4: OWAMBO LAND- EPUPA. (HIMBA)

 Early morning flight to Epupa Camp. Here we spend the morning with the owahimba tribe. This nomadic group of people live in the Kaokoveld with their cattle  herds. they live as thay have done for thousands of years. We spend the rest of the day at the Epupa falls and enjoy a sunset drink at the falls. Overnight at a luxury tented camp.

DAY 5:EPUPA   Epupa -Swakopmund 

Early morning flight to Swakopmund.  Here we spend the rest of the day exploring the town.

Overnight at a Hotel (Bed and Breakfast.   

Day 6:       

A short transfer takes you to Walvis Bay where you embark on a Catamaran.  This provides you with a glimpse of Namibia’s  only deep-sea harbour, encounters with aquatic birds and Cape fur seals, and the  opportunity of sighting bottlenose and heavy-side dolphins, the latter a species  endemic to the coast of south-western Africa.  Namibian oysters, counted amongst the best in the world, canapés and chilled sparkling wine from South  Africa as well as soft drinks are served on board during this leisurely cruise. 

Day 7:  Flight over the Namib dessert back to Windhoek.  A transfer will bring you to your accommodation establishment in Windhoek.
